The fields on the "Report a sighting" page are in a fairly random order. The map comes after the place fields, so users may type in city, country and coordinates by hand before they find out that clicking the map fills them in. This was left out of the redesign (#108). **Suggestion** (rough prototype below, not final): - Date and time on its own row - Shape and duration side by side - A "Where did it happen?" section with a short hint: "Fill in the place, or click the map to fill it in for you" - City, country, latitude and longitude on the left, the map on the right - Description at the bottom, then the submit button - On phones, maybe a toggle between "Pick on map" and "Type it in", so both don't take up the screen <screenshot of the prototype> **Done when** - The map and the place fields are grouped together and it's clear the map can fill them in - It works at both desktop and mobile widths - Keyboard users can still fill in the place by typing, since the marker can't be placed without a mouse - The e2e and accessibility tests still pass ## UPDATE Sub issues after reviewing feedback: - [x] #153 - [x] #154 - [x] #167 - [x] #175 - [x] #176
