The recipe page splits the ingredient text on every comma, but the dataset also uses commas inside a single ingredient. On "Apple Pie by Grandma Ople": - "8 small Granny Smith apples, or as needed" shows as two items - "1 (9 inch) double-crust pie pastry, thawed" shows "thawed" as its own ingredient Across the dataset about 2300 pieces after a comma belong to the previous ingredient (or, cored, peeled, softened, divided and so on). A comma should only start a new ingredient when the next part starts with a quantity, or with an ingredient that is usually listed without one (salt, pepper, cooking spray, water and similar).
