+### Elevation Control Tab
+
+Elevation control is a tool used for visualising the terrain of the seabed. By using the slidebar, the details of the terrain can be adjusted so that the difference in elevation for a given area is optimized. By default the seabed is colored using the "Viridis" gradient. However, this can also be adjusted by the users preference.
