Universal Design
Universal Design (UD) is an approach for designers to make products and services accessible and usable to the largest possible audience without the need for adaptation or specialized design.
Throughout the development of the user interface of the desktop application, the team kept in mind the principles of Universal Design to ensure that the user experience was intuitive and accesible to a broad audience. For instance, by using colors that make text readable, in addition to keeping the colors consistent throughout the design. Also, by having a clear flow in the application, with clear labels and consequences and consistent messaging from user actions.
