Added catalogue search, a searchable artist filter and sorting controls connected to the GraphQL API. Changes reset pagination to page 1. Includes result count, Clear all, loading/error/empty states and responsive controls.
Build and lint pass. Manually checked combined search, filtering, sorting and pagination. Verified mobile layout, keyboard navigation and recovery after API errors.
During testing, artworks without a known artist appeared first when sorting by artist A–Z. A separate backend fix is planned to place unknown artists last in both directions.
Future improvements: Filtering by year or date range. This requires numeric date fields in the database, since
date_displaycurrently contains text and date ranges.Closes #36
